still waiting

As I write this, it has been a week ago that I ordered my Focusrite interface, and it still has not arrived, despite paying an additional £20,- for speedy delivery. I've ordered it from Turnkey in the UK, but so far nothing....
I've written them, and was asured it would be dispatched, and still nothing., Any more that have this experience?

You're a MOTM user complaining about a one week wait time? ;)

Ha ha, yes you got me there :-)
With MOTM I know what to expect, and don't charge a fortune for delivery. Turnkey has not delivered as promised, has not contacted when items are not in stock, and even with several e-mail follow ups, did not get their act together so far. Paul almost always replies timely, and explains from the outset that things may take time and why, and most customers are okay with that, including me.
If Turnkey would at least reply and inform what the delay is, then that's fine too, just not responding properly is no good in my opinion.

After 3 more e-mails (to 3 different people at Turnkey) still no reply, so I decided to call.
The person on the phone advised me that the item is not in stock, so I'll have to wait a little longer. However what boggles me is that no one has the decency to e-mail back with this message, instead I get told it will ship. Turnkey needs to sort out their customer services by replying in a timely fashion (within 24 h is not too much to ask isn't it?) , and make sure everyone knows (by easy access to a data base) when things are out of stock.
